Budget Town Hall with Eileen Klein
Thank you to everyone who attended my town hall last week to discuss this year’s legislative budget. I would like to give a special thank you to Governor Brewer’s Chief of Staff, Eileen Klein, for providing her expertise on Arizona’s 2012 economic outlook.
Since elected, I have been working diligently to streamline local and state government, create an economic environment that allows for business growth and job creation and promote education throughout Arizona.
Please keep an eye out for more town halls throughout the district in the coming months. I look forward to seeing you and discussing issues affecting Arizona. Thank you again for your continued support, and as always, contact me with any questions!

Remembering Dr. King
Dr. King believed in a nation of freedom, justice, and equality. He encouraged all citizens to selflessly serve their community. I encourage all Arizonans to live up to Dr. King’s vision and give back to our community. Just as Dr. King set big goals and focused relentlessly on results, we need sustained citizen action to address today’s challenges.

From the first moment of the attack through the years following the tragedy, Americans have been united in our strength of character and unwavering resolve. Today, we remember the sacrifice made by American families, our troops and first responders and their continued bravery.

Arizona is a TEAL State
The Ovarian Cancer National Alliance launched an initiative in 2010; The United States of Teal asks each of the 50 United States to pledge support for women with ovarian cancer, turning the state teal for the day.
Last year, Arizona was one of 23 states joining the cause. This year, I have pledged my own support for the United States of Teal, and Teal Day on September 2nd, 2011 by signing this pledge card.

Thank you to all of you who came to my reception last night. A special thanks to the Arizona Physical Therapy Association PAC, the Dorn Group and Grimaldi’s for making it all possible. It was great seeing many familiar faces and meeting many new constituents. I really appreciate your continued support.
